Neal Zipser, The DeVilling Group
Automotive Marketing and Communications Consultant
Neal has worked in various marketing and communications positions within the automotive industry for nearly 20 years and currently operates NZ Marketing and Communications. He serves as a senior consultant for The DeVilling Group, providing expertise in the automotive aftermarket. He provides clients with media/public relations strategy and execution, marketing strategy, research, writing support, Web site content and presentation development.
During his career, Neal directed the marketing and communications activities of the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association, was Marketing Communications Manager for Visteon’s aftermarket business and led marketing and public relations accounts of several automotive suppliers while working for a Detroit-area integrated marketing communications firm.
Neal has a strong writing background. In addition to once being a reporter for metro Detroit’s largest suburban weekly newspaper, he served as senior editor of a magazine targeted to automotive suppliers and continues to contribute guest articles on a regular basis to automotive aftermarket magazines. Neal also is actively involved in industry organizations and is the former director of the Automotive Public Relations Council. He currently serves as president of the Automotive Communications Council.
