With a creative mind for media relations and a wide range of client experience, Ann Marie Wakula brings consumer media expertise to The DeVilling Group clients.

Wakula spearheaded the national PR launch for Count Me Healthy Jewelry and secured media coverage in outlets including Elle Magazine, Women’s Day, Southern Living and Accessories as well as dozens of regional and daily newspapers, online blogs and local market news stations. Wakula was also part of the media relations team for the Red Bull International Air Races Windsor.

Prior to being an independent contractor, Wakula worked for John Bailey & Associates where she coordinated media relations initiatives for Marshall Fields, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, R. L. Polk & Co. and the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS). As part of the NAIAS team she was responsible for media relations for the shows’ Charity Preview, which raises millions of dollars for Detroit children’s charities annually.

Wakula has also held positions with Palace Sports & Entertainment and Intercept Marketing where she served as the Director of Sales and Business Management.
